Midsummer's Day - A Community Celebration of the Summer Solstice

June 21st (2025)

Everyone is invited to join us for our annual Midsummer's Day Celebration

Shambhala’s tradition of celebrating the changes of the seasons, called “Nyida” days, occurring on or near the days of the equinoxes and solstices, gives us wonderful opportunities to gather as a Sangha - our community of meditators, friends and families.

Midsummer Day recognizes the joy and brilliance of the summer solstice with a  picnic.  We celebrate with games, feasting and community.

The Center will provide grilled brats, burgers, hot dogs and veggie burgers, and non-alcoholic beverages.  Consider bringing: a dish to share, lawn chairs, and alcoholic beverages.

    The celebration begins at 2pm.

We hope to see you there!
