Shambhala Training Level V - Open Sky

June 8th—June 9th

Date details +
    Room: Main Shrine Room

This weekend retreat is being offered through Shambhala Online. We will participate as a group to watch the live-stream teachings — along with in-person practice, discussions and community at the Minneapolis Shambhala Center. The best of both worlds: an outstanding international teacher connected with Centers around the world, received in the community of our own Center!

If you are unable to attend the program at the center, you also have the option of participating via zoom from home.

    Course Description

Communicating with the world gently and fearlessly, our awareness is sharpened and we find the open clear sky of mind—a delightful source of wisdom and uplifted energy. We learn to trust our nature enough to let go into the present moment.

Shambhala Training Level V is the fifth retreat in a progressive series of weekend retreats.  Shambhala Training Level IV is a prerequisite.

The point of Shambhala Training is to get out of the cocoon, which is the shyness and aggression in which we have wrapped ourselves… A Shambhala warrior is someone who is brave enough not to give in to the aggression and contradictions that exist in society…who is able to step out of the cocoon–that very comfortable cocoon that he or she is trying to sleep in.
